Have heard great things about this restaurant. Definitely not disappointed. The renovation of an old building is very impressive. Our waitress Kiki was prompt on greeting us after we were seated. Took our drink and appetizer order. Came back with drinks in a timely manner. The charcuterie board was very good. Our main entrees came out very quick and hot. Very good with a lot of flavors. Kiki was exceptional on checking if we needed anything and also if everything was okay. Definitely recommend this restaurant and will not hesitate on returning.
Shelby had some great recommendations tonight. Very delicious meals for me an my lovely wife. Highly recommend the flank steak🤝
It was our first time at The Foundry and it was incredible! Walking in the atmosphere was perfect for a nice upper scale dinner. Our server Kiki took great care of us! We started off with the charcuterie board and it was very tasty. The flank steak and vegetables was delicious also! Highly suggest having dinner here!!
Great scenic lookout. The music was brilliant. Servers were attentive and interactive. Learned a lot about drinks. Tony was our bartender and he was amazing. Definitely be back.
We came to the Foundry for dinner and we had a wonderful time. My husband was looking forward to the brussel sprout salad with the beautiful steak on top, but alas, the menu has changed and they no longer carry this dish (we hope it returns soon)! The food we did order was great! We had the flank steak entree and it was cooked perfectly to medium rare. And we tried the pizza of the week and the carnivore pizza. Both of them had great flavor and we liked the pizza crust, nice and light. My husband had the Valentine's special smoked old fashioned and he enjoyed that as well. Our server was Kennedy and she was so kind and we have been fortunate enough to have her for the second time now. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing here and the food is really good as well. If you get a chance to come here, ask for Kennedy to be your server! 😉
I have been here several times - a great Dayton dining spot. Service is always terrific and Kiki helped with advice on some new dishes. Great food and perfect meeting spot for friends and small groups. The bar specializes in a huge selection of bourbons (Weller!) and much more. Music highlights the energetic and positive vibe. Bring your friends!
Definitely one of the top dinner spots in downtown Dayton. Enjoyable views and fantastic live music. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding.
Absolutely loved the experience here! The atmosphere is awesome, especially with the stunning views from the rooftop. I ordered the steak, and it was incredible—I really appreciated the unique touch of spice that took the flavor to the next level. The presentation was great, too (loved the red glassware). Highly recommend for a great night out!
Visited Dayton Ohio for my first time and was looking for a nice upscale restaurant we found (The Foundry). The food was amazing. Drinks were awesome, and the service was impeccable. Jake our server was courteous and very helpful on our food selection. Give this man a raise!
Where do I even begin? This place is exceptional. The atmosphere is vibrant, the service is consistently impressive, and the food is always on point. The rooftop view is the perfect backdrop for happy hour, especially with a larger group. Huge shoutout to the team behind the bar — Sam, Dillion, and Jacob — who always bring great energy, craft top‑notch drinks, and keep the experience fun. And Peter deserves recognition as well; he runs the place with professionalism and warmth, making every visit feel welcomed and well taken care of. Friday and Saturday nights feature a DJ and entertainment that elevate the whole experience without overpowering it. Whether you’re here for dinner or just drinks with friends, it’s the perfect touch. Easily a five‑star spot and one of my favorites in town.
